In this department, we study and address current scientific issues of international scientific associations and introduced new research topics for further examination. We also aim to develop the architects’ reading, writing, and searching skills. This department aims to conduct more research on issues related to the architectural heritage of Iran. It uses the knowledge of many experts and researchers. The courses held in this department are:

-Finding reliable sources of architectural information
-City planning (sites and journals)
-Research methods in architectural operations
