What is IAC?

Iranian Architecture Center (IAC) was founded in 2006. Since then, it has grown to become the first professional institute of architecture in Iran, promoting architectural studies both in educational and practical fields. We realized that there was a large gap between what architectural students are taught in university and the practical skills they are expected to have when they want to enter their future careers. For the past decade, we have been trying to fill this gap by offering several practical courses conducted by our expert tutors. We aim to provide the soon-to-be architects with a broad understanding of the profession and prepare them for the real challenges that contemporary architects face on a daily basis. Along with technical and professional skills, we encourage students to take part in our theoretical courses to acquire a better understanding of architecture-related concepts, the history of architecture, and architectural theories.

Our Mission

Iranian Architecture Center aims to bridge between academic architectural education and the working world. It prepares the postgraduate or recently qualified architect to enter their professional career and simultaneously equips them to continue their studies or prepare for prestigious positions anywhere in the world. Our graduates would be capable enough to be part of the IAC family and get employed in ATIN (designing execution department of IAC) as well as other professional labor markets.

Our vision

IAC now intends to prepare the ground for closer ties with similar educational/professional institutes around the globe. We truly believe that through certain gradual steps within the next few years, we will establish a valuable and sustainable platform in Iran to exchange architectural ideas by organizing: Joint lectures, seminars, webinars, exhibitions, research work, and also architectural trips.

Our Facilities

A four-story building located in Tehran that is easily accessible by public transport and has 10 classes, 3 computer sites, a publication unite, catering, a beautiful yard with a fabricated shell is ready to serve students from every corner of the world. IAC also provides foreign students and teachers with comfortable accommodation during their stay in Iran.

Our target audience

Professional architects, university lecturers, students, and even non-architects enthusiasts. In other words, everyone who has architectural concerns is welcome to join IAC.
